Todd Adkins, M.D.

Dr. Adkins received his bachelor of science degree in Biology with a minor in chemistry from The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, in 1984. He received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson in 1988. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson in 1991, where he was a chief resident from 1991-1992. He completed his fellowship in Asthma and Allergy at St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1994 and joined Mississippi Asthma & Allergy Clinic in July 1994.

Dr. Adkins is certified by the American Board of Allergy & Immunology.

A native Mississippian, Dr. Adkins is married with two children.

James Haltom, M.D.

Dr. Haltom received his bachelor of science degree in Biology from the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi, in 1975. He received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson in 1979. He completed his residency in Pediatric Medicine at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1982, where he was a chief resident from 1982-1983. He completed his fellowship in Asthma and Allergy at National Jewish Hospital/ National Asthma Center in Denver, Colorado, in 1985 and a fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology at the University of Mississippi in Jackson, Mississippi, in 1994. He joined the Mississippi Asthma & Allergy Clinic in July 1985. He also serves as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at University Medical Center.

Dr. Haltom is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, the Subboard of Pediatric Pulmonology, and the American Board of Allergy & Immunology.

A native Mississippian, Dr. Haltom has served on the Board of the American Lung Association, President from 2000-2001. He is married with three children.

Dr. Murray received his bachelor of science degree in Biomedical Sciences from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama in 2001. He received his medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile, Alabama in 2005. He completed his residency in pediatrics at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga Unit in Chattanooga, Tennessee in 2008, where he was chief resident from 2007-2008. He complete his fellowship in Asthma and Allergy at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana in 2012 and joined Mississippi Asthma & Allergy Clinic in July of the same year. Prior to his fellowship, Dr. Murray worked as an urgent care pediatrician in Chattanooga, Tennessee from 2008-2010.

Dr. Phillips received his bachelor of science degree in Biology from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi, in 1998. He received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson in 2002. He completed his residency in combined internal medicine and pediatrics at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson in 2006, where he was a chief resident in pediatrics from 2006-2007. He completed his fellowship in Asthma and Allergy at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida, in 2009 and joined Mississippi Asthma and Allergy Clinic in July of the same year.

Dr. Venarske received his bachelor's degree in Plan II from The University of Texas at Austin in 1995 and his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, in 1999. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson in 2003. In 2005, he completed his fellowship in Asthma and Allergy at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee and joined Mississippi Asthma & Allergy Clinic in July of the same year.

Dr. Venarske is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, the American Board of Internal Medicine, and the American Board of Allergy & Immunology.

A native of Houston, Texas, Dr. Venarske is active in his church and medical communities. He currently serves on the board of the American Lung Association. He is married with three children.

He completed his fellowship in Asthma and Allergy at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana, in 1993. He practiced General Pediatrics at the Children’s Clinic of Oxford, P.A., in Mississippi from 1985-1991. Dr. Walcott joined Mississippi Asthma & Allergy Clinic in July 1993.
